1. Sarus Cranes
D shakuhachi

Predawn, and all is quiet. Lying in my swag
I hear the trumpeting of sarus cranes and brolgas
flying to feeding grounds in the Gulf Savannah. Joy!

Tsuru no Sugomori (Nesting Cranes) is a traditional shakuhachi contemplation on the natural world played in many versions throughout Japan for possibly three centuries.
